On Wednesday, November 20^th, 2002 the Natick Police Department graduated its seventh session of the “ Citizen Academy ”.  The attendee’s, over a ten-week period, received an overview of the police department’s functions and operational procedures through presentations made by various police executives and veteran officers.  In addition to weekly presentations, attendees were also provided the opportunity to “live” fire department weapons at the indoor firing range located at Police Headquarters and experience firsthand an active police patrol by riding in a police cruiser with an officer on Friday or Saturday evening.
